Book Exchange

Our school-wide Book Exchange is rapidly approaching.  We will start collecting books next week for our book exchange that is being organized by Girl Scout troop 40522 as they work to achieve their Bronze Award.

Collection bins will be placed in the lobby starting Monday, May 6th and will remain through Friday, May 17th, so feel free to drop any used books that you would like to donate during that time.

We are accepting all types of books including grown-up books.  The actual book exchange will take place during Bingo Night on Friday, May 17th.  If you aren’t able to make Bingo Night, we will offer an opportunity for every student to receive a book at another time depending on how many books are left over.  Thank you in advance for your donations and participation in the 2019 Terra Linda Book Exchange. We couldn’t do it without you!!!

Sam Day 5K

Join us on Saturday, June 29th for the 2nd Annual Sam Day 5K!  The 5K run/walk will begin and end at Sunset High School in Cedar Mill, Oregon. As you leave the Sunset High School campus and weave through Sam’s neighborhood, Terra Linda, you’ll be cheered on and encouraged by dozens of spectators, sounds, music and messages along the way. Kids with cancer want to live well and the Sam Day 5K is creating that opportunity and setting the example!

After the race you will enjoy a post run party with music, awards and of course, some treats! The 5K route is on pavement and weaves through closed neighborhood streets and pathways.

The Kids 1K Fun Run will be held entirely on the High School campus.
